Easter Weekend of Family Fun at Newbury Racecourse

Celebrate your Easter weekend with a trip to the races at your favourite Berkshire track, as the flat season starts with the Dubai Duty Free Spring Trials on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April and what an Easter treat for the family it will be.

Get ready for two days of family fun, starting with our Racing Experience Day on Saturday 16 April, where all ages will have the chance to dive into the racing world, with opportunities to Meet Ouzbeck a retired racehorse, find out about being a jockey, have a go on an mechanical horse, learn about syndicate ownership and even head down to the start and watch the starting stalls in action. There is so much to get involved with and all activities are completely free.

This will be followed by an ‘Eggstravaganza’ of an Easter Sunday as the timeless and mischievous Easter bunny favourite, Peter Rabbit, will make an appearance and will be joined by Newbury’s very own Harry the Horse, who will be handing out Easter goodies throughout the day. Get the whole family out for an Easter Day with a difference with seven live races, plus our petting zoo, experience storytelling for the kids and enjoy Easter egg hunts, face painting and crafts.
